The 21st International Workshop on Polarized Sources, Targets, and Polarimetry

Call for Abstract

We are proud to open the call for abstracts to the 2026 Workshop on Polarized Sources, Targets and Polarimetry (PSTP2026), to be held from August 31st to September 4th, 2026 at the Mito City Civic Center, Mito, Japan. The PSTP series of workshops has been bringing together spin physics researchers for over 20 years, rotating between Asia, Europe and North America.

Early bird abstract submission and registration is now open until June 30th, 2026. A limited amount of support is available for early career researchers (Students and Postdocs). Interested early career researchers should contact the organizers directly before registering.

The workshop will cover the following key topics in nuclear and particle physics:

• Polarized sources (electrons, positrons, ions)
• Polarized solid and gas targets
• Polarized neutrons and muons
• Lepton, hadron, and other polarimetry
• Polarized beam transport
• New applications and emerging technologies

Mito is a historic city famous for Kairakuen Garden, one of Japan's top three landscape gardens. It is easily accessible from Tokyo and Narita Airport.
